(Summer) Part Time Lecturer - Public Health & Health Science

Responsibilities

• Preparing syllabi, lectures, course materials, all examinations including a final exam, and evaluations of student performance in the course.
• Developing and implementing materials for lectures for in-person or online/hybrid courses.
• Working under the direction of the Lead Faculty for certain courses.
• Holding office hours as appropriate.
• Engaging productively with teaching assistants.
• Collaborating on course revisions and improvements with department faculty and the University’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning through Research (CATLR).

Qualifications

• Applicants should have at least a Masters in an appropriate field.
• Doctoral degrees and teaching experience are preferred.

Summer Term

• Undergraduate courses are scheduled in-person during the day, 2-3 days per week between the hours of 8:00am-6:35pm.
• Graduate courses are scheduled either in-person 5:30 – 8:00pm or online.

• PHTH 2515. Healthcare Policy and Administration.
• PHTH 1260. The American Healthcare System.
