About the role
AquaSafe offers a summer experience that will ensure professional and personal growth. Perfect summer job for teens, youth, students, college students, teachers, retirees or anyone with free time in the summer. Pool schedules are flexible with summer vacations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies
- Enforce all pool rules fairly and consistently
- Ensure proper pool water chemicals, record keeping, and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility
- Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years old by date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course
- Able to work Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Able to work ALL WEEKENDS throughout the Summer (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner and must be attentive and focused
- Have a current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain before the beginning of the season
Qualifications
Experienced, motivated Lifeguards who demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational and leadership skills may be considered as a Pool Manager, with the opportunity for more responsibility and higher pay. Interest in the Pool Manager position and further explanation of the responsibilities can be discussed in your interview.
Pay
- $14/hr - $17/hr + Overtime (depending on experience)
- Bonus and Incentive opportunities available
- Ask how you can qualify for a $250 bonus
Schedule
- Season begins: Saturday, May 23rd, 2026
- Season ends: Monday, September 7th, 2026
