AquaSafe offers a summer experience that will ensure professional and personal growth. Perfect summer job for teens, youth, students, college students, teachers, retirees, or anyone with free time in the summer. Being a Seasonal Lifeguard is the PERFECT Summer Job! Pool schedules are flexible with summer vacations. While it is fun, the role of a Lifeguard must be taken very seriously, because at any time someone's life might depend on YOU!
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies
- Enforce all pool rules fairly and consistently
- Ensure proper pool water chemicals, record keeping, and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility
- Report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years old by the date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course
- Must be able to work Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Must be able to work ALL WEEKENDS throughout the Summer (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Must professionally conduct themselves and be attentive and focused
- Must have a current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain them before the beginning of the season

Opportunities
Experienced, motivated Lifeguards who demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational, and leadership skills may be considered as a Pool Manager, with the opportunity for more responsibility and higher pay. Interest in the Pool Manager position and further explanation of the responsibilities can be discussed in your interview.
Pay & schedule
- Starting pay: $15.00/hr - $18/hr + Overtime (depending on experience)
- Bonus and Incentive opportunities available — ask how you can qualify for a $250 bonus!
- Season begins: Saturday, May 23rd, 2026
- Season ends: Monday, September 27th, 2026
