Responsibilities
As a Lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all pool patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. You will enforce pool rules fairly, monitor water quality, maintain a clean and enjoyable environment, and report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to your supervisor. This is more than just a summer job - it's an opportunity to develop valuable leadership, communication, and lifesaving skills that last a lifetime.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old by the date of hire.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate focus and attentiveness at all times.
- Must have or complete a nationally recognized Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification before the season begins.

Pay
Starting pay: $14.00–$17.00 per hour, with overtime bonus opportunities. Pay rate based on experience: $15.00–$18.00 per hour. End-of-season bonus of up to $250.00.
Schedule
Season runs from Opening Day: Saturday, May 23, 2026 to Closing Day: Monday, September 7, 2026. Flexible summer schedules; availability for weekends and holidays required.
