Summer Intern - Project Engineering

About The Role As a Project Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry and contribute to the development of the latest technology. You will report to the Digital & AI Product Strategy Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027. Key Responsibilities Support the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for the AP300 and AP1000 projectsSupport digitization projects for AP300 and AP1000 projects, including AI enablementSupport the project engineering team in compiling technical design information and preparing reportsWork with multiple engineering groups to ensure delivery of engineering commitmentsParticipate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical challenges and solutionsHelp prepare engineering deliverables across several technical disciplinesHelp prepare presentations and documentation for construction partners and customers Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, nuclear, chemical, industrial, electrical, or civil engineeringCompleted Sophomore year of collegeInterest in project engineering across broad technical disciplinesConstruction experience/interest We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
