Summer Intern - Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer Intern, you will work in the APX Design Automation & Configuration team. You will report to the Software Development Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time position for the summer, May - August 2027.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the selection/development/maintenance of the WNEXUS Software Suite tools used within the APX organization
- Work with team members to intake new functional requirements, understand what is possible with existing architecture and what is new functionality
- Support the WNEXUS Software Deployments daily tasks by participating in discussions with internal and external customers on new functionality requests
- Learn the WECAF framework features to understand best use of toolset and support efficient data connections across applications
- Support the team in product backlog maintenance of the core WNEXUS Suite Applications
- Help drive standardization into the WNEXUS product management process, through assisting with training of individuals and development of standard training material
- Plan, schedule, and execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science field
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Ability to troubleshoot functional software issues from a user's perspective
- Self-starter with ability to work independently on assignments
Pay
The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
