Summer Intern - Mechanical Engineering

About the role
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support the development, analysis, testing, and implementation of systems and components supporting nuclear power generation projects. You will work with experienced engineers and contribute to real-world engineering solutions. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027, located at our Cranberry, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, PA facility.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering design and analysis activities
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, reports, and calculations
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
- Support resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues
- Conduct engineering evaluations and research activities
- Support testing and validation efforts
- Collaborate with project teams
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
