Summer Intern- IT & Cyber Audit (2027)

Air Products, a leader in industrial gas manufacturing, has a summer 2026 internship position available in our IT & Cyber Audit team located at our corporate headquarters in Allentown, PA. The summer internship is 11 weeks in length (traditionally late May through early August).

Responsibilities

• IT & cybersecurity audits – Assisting with executing audit programs, performing testing, and preparing audit work papers to document conclusions reached during testing.
• Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) IT controls testing – Conducting joint meetings with external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of internal controls, preparing work papers, analyzing evidence of control performance, making pass/failure determinations, and supporting follow‑up of issues identified during testing.
• Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence – Using data‑analytics tools and MS Copilot to develop use cases that augment audits and SOX testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.3 required
• Currently a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management/Business Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, or Accounting with courses in MIS or Computer Science
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, interpersonal, communication, and time‑management skills
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required
• Inquisitive mindset
• Interest and experience with data analytics and automation tools
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Location

PA‑Allentown (corporate headquarters). Candidates must be willing to relocate to Allentown, PA for the duration of the internship.
