About the role
As an Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Controls Intern, you will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and control systems supporting nuclear facilities and products. You will report to the department manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May – August 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support development of system architecture drawings and schematics
- Help with hardware design and documentation
- Support manufacturing and testing activities
- Help develop technical specifications and procedures
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Support procurement and manufacturing documentation
- Help with hardware validation and functional testing
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Completed sophomore year of college
- Interest in control systems, instrumentation, or power systems
- Familiarity with electrical design concepts and drawings
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
