Summer Intern 2027 -Staff Auditor

About the role

We are seeking aspiring accountants on the CPA track to work on the audit side of our accounting team. This position will require travel, up to 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing audits of labor unions and their related fringe benefit funds.
• Review financial statements and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare working papers and maintain audit documentation.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and clients.

Requirements

• Upcoming graduates with 150+ credit hours towards CPA certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience with auditing practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations.
