Summer Field Trip Lead - Bothell (Wilmot Gateway Park)

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise both staff and campers on the Field Trip
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Communicate with parents and guardians
• Maintain a food and activity budget
• Travel by bus (or public transportation in large cities) to multiple stops
• Have fun with kids
• Ensure all activities happen safely

Additional Responsibilities

• Actively supervising campers
• Support staff to achieve optimal performance
• Ensure adherence to State and Camp Policies
• Reporting & Recording details of notable concerns or incidents
• Ensuring compliance with camper allergies and dietary restrictions
• Reporting spend and ensuring budget adherence
• Communicating regularly and respectfully with parents/guardians
• Managing a host site relationship (where applicable)
• Supply management and replenishment
• Completing administrative tasks as assigned
• Ensuring training completion of self and staff

Job Requirements (USE S&K AD MIN REQUIREMENTS BY STATE)

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal or volunteer setting.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)
