Summer Elementary Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction based on Sylvan ACE it! curriculum.
• Teach Ace It reading or Math 30 hour program in the Summer at the Boys and Girls Club in Uvalde.
• Administer a Pre/Post test to see students' placement and growth.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student confidence and motivation.

Requirements

• Passion for teaching and helping students learn and grow.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in Uvalde, TX and comply with applicable background checks.
