Summer Construction Helper - Summer 2026
Position Overview
Bowers is seeking a highly motivated Summer Construction Helper to support our construction crews on active job sites during peak summer operations. This role is responsible for providing general labor support while maintaining safe, clean, and organized work environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support crew members and site supervisors with daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Aid in client & stakeholder engagement
- Assist with design, technical, or operational execution
- Maintain project & cross-discipline coordination
- Document and communicate with site leadership
- Manage resources and ensure clean, organized, and safe work areas
Desired Skills And Experience
- Experience: Entry-level role; no prior construction experience required
- Technical & Professional Skills: Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team, willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, basic physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials, strong focus on safety, reliability, and accountability
Additional Notes
- Work is performed on outdoor construction job sites with exposure to weather, noise, and active work zones
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (hard hat, safety vest, etc.)
- This role is limited to non-hazardous tasks only and performed under direct supervision
- Tasks will be assigned in accordance with applicable labor and safety regulations
- This is a seasonal, temporary position (summer employment)
- Safety training will be provided prior to starting work
- Salary Range: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
