About the role
The University of Miami Department of Theater Arts has an exciting opportunity for a temporary full time Summer Camp Instructor to work in Coral Gables, FL.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to 5 one-hour classes daily in assigned field, including designing lesson plans to implement an effective curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
- Supervise one area of STA facilities during students’ break period, on a rotating basis.
- Create, rehearse, and present the final performance in areas of assigned field.
- Take and organize photos of camp activities.
- Morning and afternoon parking lot duty as assigned on a rotating basis.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the STA director.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of college in a related field and work-related experience.
