Summer Camp Field Trip Lead - Saratoga (Kevin Moran Park)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan activities with the Field Trip Planning team
• Safely supervise both staff and campers during Field Trips
• Oversee day-to-day operations and communicate with parents and guardians
• Maintain a food and activity budget
• Travel by bus (or public transportation) to multiple stops
• Have fun with kids while ensuring safety

Additional Responsibilities

• Actively supervising campers
• Supporting staff to achieve optimal performance
• Ensuring adherence to State and Camp Policies
• Reporting and recording details of notable concerns or incidents
• Keeping track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
• Reporting spend and ensuring budget adherence
• Communicating regularly and respectfully with parents/guardians
• Managing a host site relationship (where applicable)
• Supply management and replenishment
• Completing administrative tasks as assigned
• Ensuring training completion of self and staff

Job Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal, or volunteer setting
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)
