About the role

Lead daily camp sessions for 8–12 kids ages 7–14, using provided curriculum and materials. Create an engaging, inclusive environment where campers feel encouraged to experiment and create. Guide students through hands-on projects — troubleshooting, encouraging, and celebrating their wins. Manage the full camp day: setup, pacing, transitions, and cleanup. Communicate warmly with parents at drop-off and pick-up. Capture photos and short video clips for documentation and social media.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate — this role is built around your summer availability
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology, gaming, or creative digital tools
  • Experience working with kids in any capacity — tutoring, coaching, babysitting, camp counseling, or classroom work
  • Comfortable taking ownership of a room; you don't need a script to keep things moving
  • Patient, adaptable, and good at reading a group's energy
  • Familiarity with any of the camp tools (Roblox, Minecraft, Scratch, etc.) is a plus — we'll fill in the gaps

Qualifications

  • College degree in Computer Science, Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring children

  • Knowledge of technology and digital tools

Schedule

Six-week seasonal position, Monday–Friday, 8:15am–3:15pm (July 7 – August 15)
