About the role
The Summer Camp Climbing Instructor position is designed for individuals with a passion for outdoor adventure and a strong commitment to youth development. This role involves leading climbing sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and fostering an environment where participants can learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Lead climbing sessions for groups of varying skill levels
- Ensure all participants adhere to safety guidelines and equipment usage
- Develop and implement educational programs related to climbing and safety
- Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all campers
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid first aid certification
- Experience in outdoor activities such as rock climbing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Outdoor Education, Physical Education)
- Previous experience working with children or youth
- Passion for teaching and mentoring

Schedule
