About the role

If you thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, possess a client-first mindset, excel under pressure, and enjoy using tech-enabled workflows to meet tight deadlines, this program is for you. We’re looking for gritty, resilient individuals ready to roll up their sleeves and make things happen. You’ll have the opportunity to regularly upskill on new tools and workflows, including those powered by AI, to improve your professional output.

As a Summer Associate in the Client Service team, you’ll be the link between our clients and the expert knowledge they seek. These connections could take the form of an hour-long phone call between the client and expert advisor, a survey, or a written research product. Throughout your workday, you will work on multiple projects from investors, strategists, and dealmakers at top-tier client organizations seeking expert insights to inform their decision-making. This is a communications-intense frontline role requiring you to multitask across parallel workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end client-expert communications, spending a significant part of your day on the phone screening and negotiating with relevant experts to position the best possible matches for your clients’ requests.
  • Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools to map complex industry value chains and identify and engage with relevant experts.
  • Understand the project and market context and the legal and regulatory environment in which your clients and experts operate.

What success looks like

  • An introduction to the business world without being pigeonholed into any one industry or profession.
  • Development of transferable commercial and client management skills spanning professional communications, negotiation, persuasion, project, and time management.
  • A unique training curriculum and intense on-the-job coaching, helping you develop highly transferable commercial and managerial skills.
  • An inspiring, high-energy, merit-based environment with ambitious peers.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Junior (Class of 2028).
  • Strong academic credentials (undergraduate GPA of 3.3 or above).
  • Noteworthy extracurricular achievement throughout school and university.
  • Internship experience evidencing an interest in business is a plus.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Work authorization in the United States; we do not sponsor visas but will consider applicants with STEM/OPT eligibility.

Benefits

  • Internship compensation is $15,384.62 for a 10-week program.
  • Opportunity to receive a full-time employment offer to return post-graduation.
  • Prime midtown office with state-of-the-art amenities; option to WFH each Friday.
