Summer 2027 Water Resources Intern

About the Role

Verdantas is seeking a driven civil/water resources engineering intern for Summer 2027 at our Philadelphia location. We're looking for a talented and inquisitive engineering intern who's eager to apply their skills in a real-world setting and learn from experienced professionals. This internship offers hands-on exposure to engineering projects that make a tangible impact, along with mentorship from a collaborative team that values innovation and curiosity. You'll gain practical experience in problem-solving, design, and development, while building a strong foundation for your future career in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids, including hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, to support stormwater design
• Prepare CAD drawings in accordance with Verdantas and client standards
• Assist with fieldwork (e.g., construction observation, site visits)
• Review submittals and technical documents to assess compliance with project requirements and prepare draft documents

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Interest or passion in water resources or green stormwater infrastructure
• Experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
• Previous engineering co-op/experience a plus

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00
