About the Role
We are seeking a team player with a positive attitude and the highest level of personal integrity to join our tax team as a Tax Intern for our 2027 Summer Internship program. This is a paid internship (30-40 hours per week) designed to provide college students with hands-on, career-related experience in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.
Responsibilities
- Participate in financial planning and tax projects, as assigned
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns in UltraTax CS
- Create workpapers in Engagement Manager and SurePrep that effectively document project preparation
- Utilize FirmFlow (CRM/project management) and GoFileRoom (document storage) to maintain accurate workflow status
- Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
- Other duties as requested by Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators
Requirements
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related business degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications
- Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or have professional work experience
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Keen, consistent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
