Summer 2027 Land Internship

Internship Overview

Permian Resources is offering a paid summer internship for the Summer of 2027 in Midland, Texas. Interns will receive hands‑on experience related to their field of study, work on specific projects, and be paired with a manager and mentor who provide technical guidance. The program includes training sessions, field tours, volunteer activities, networking opportunities with executives, and culminates in a presentation showcasing the intern’s work and learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clearing title for drilling locations to support a fast‑paced, multi‑rig horizontal schedule.
• Research land ownership and mineral rights.
• Analyze title documents and verify updated land and lease records.
• Ensure all land transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in training, field tours, volunteer projects, and executive networking events.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project work and internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Energy Commerce, Land Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Current college level: Sophomore through graduate student.
• Expected graduation: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2028.
• Available to start mid‑late May 2027 and commit to a minimum of 12 continuous weeks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (lower GPAs may be considered with extenuating circumstances).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a performance‑driven, team‑oriented environment.
