About the role

Summer 2027 Internship/Co‑Op positions in Computer Science/Analytics across multiple TVA locations (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, TN; Starkville, Tupelo, MS; Huntsville, Muscle Shoals, AL) and additional sites throughout the TVA service territory. Posting open October 5, 2026; closes December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Computer Science interns: assist with management of cloud computing, support delivery of TVA computing systems and technologies, strengthen reliability, availability, and resilience of electronic and information‑based assets.
• Cybersecurity interns: support cyber experts in assessing and testing operational security and compliance, identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.
• Analytics interns: work with analysts to develop and manage technology standards, ensure effective change management, review metrics to learn and refine strategy and tactics.
• Principal accountabilities: become familiar with TVA business, organization, key decision makers, processes; interact with leaders and team members; develop working knowledge of critical business functions; learn to apply policies and procedures, recommend continuous‑improvement changes; communicate policies to new and existing employees.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program at time of internship.
• Completed at least 30 semester hours.
• Seeking majors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering disciplines, Business‑related degrees, or other related fields.
