About The Position

Gulfstream engineering interns in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are an integral part of the engineering staff, contributing to projects that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. We are looking for all levels of educational experience—from undergraduates to master's and PhD students—who are seeking professional experience in a state-of-the-art engineering environment.

Over the course of our internship experience you will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Systems Engineering
  • Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum duration: 10–12 weeks (summer).
  • Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in and working knowledge of aircraft propulsion systems including turbine engine theory and operations and nacelle / thrust reverser systems.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems engineering.
  • Critical Thinking, understanding of probabilities, technical writing, cause and effect analysis.
  • Preferred Tools/skills: CATIA
  • Preferred Coding Languages:
    • Matlab
    • Python
    • VBA
