What You’ll Experience Real-world projects that make an impactExposure to innovative practicesOpportunities to grow skills and professional connections Program Structure Juniors: Two rotations requiredSeniors & Graduate Students: One rotation required About The Position The Loads and Dynamics team is responsible for all aspects of static loads, dynamic loads, and flutter analysis at Gulfstream. Working closely with senior engineers for support and oversight, you will gain meaningful experience solving technical challenges in the areas of structural dynamics and aeroelasticity. Your Work May Include The Following Performing static and dynamic ground/landing gear loads analyses, including formula and landing conditionsGenerating and analyzing aircraft structural dynamic responses and corresponding load distributions for tuned and continuous gust conditionsPerforming aircraft flutter analysis for nominal, parametric, failure, and repair scenariosAssessing aircraft repairs and modifications for flutter impactsAssisting in the development of new tools and methods for loads analyses Education Requirement Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:Aerospace EngineeringMechanical Engineering with coursework in Aerodynamics or an Aerospace concentration/certificateMust be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027.Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume Preferred Skills Enrolled in a graduate degree program with a focus on structural dynamics or aeroelasticityExperience with MATLABFinite Element Analysis and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics experienceFamiliarity/course work in aerodynamics, structures, and aeroelasticity Benefits Include Company-provided housing Competitive pay Medical coverage Paid Time Off 401(k) match Mentorship Collegiate networking events Please note that this job description may remain active until October 30, 2026. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
