Summer 2027 Engineering Internship - Morris, IL

About the role

Constellation is seeking highly motivated engineering students for engineering internships in 2027 to work in person at the Dresden Plant in Morris, IL. These paid internships last approximately 10 weeks, running from June 7 2027 through August 13 2027. Interns will work on specific projects designed to provide real‑world, hands‑on experience while working independently under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.

Responsibilities

• Cooling Tower Drone Inspections
• Nuclear Core Analysis
• Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump
• Thermal Overload Calculation for Motor Operated Valves
• Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrade
• Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater
• Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering program for the Fall of 2027
• Major in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 and a major GPA of 3.0
• Ability to lawfully work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
