Life as an Intern at Fairmont
You will support Fairmont engagements across both the strategy and M&A diligence advisory practices of Fairmont. Our strategy practice addresses critical questions and decisions for senior leadership teams of both large and middle-market aerospace, defense, and government services companies. Typical engagements may include evaluation of long-term industry trends, assessing the market for the client's currently-served or adjacent domains, or development of an acquisition screen to advise a client on potential M&A targets.
The M&A diligence practice includes work on both the buy and sell side of merger and acquisition transactions, and focuses on evaluating a company's relative strategic positioning from the perspective of programs, technology, and industry structure. Our clients include five of the ten largest private equity firms. Typical engagements include rigorous, data-intensive research on the M&A target's market, business potential, and competitive environment.
