About the Opportunity
The Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is looking for highly motivated students in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines to assist research economists with policy‑oriented and academic research in a paid internship during the summer of 2027. We are looking for candidates with diverse backgrounds, interests, and perspectives. Interns receive many opportunities to learn through daily work interactions with economists and research assistants, as well as through seminars, lectures, and RA‑led study groups. The environment is friendly and academically oriented, allowing interns to learn about academic research careers and the Fed.

- Prepare and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship on an academic article studied or the data helped analyze.
