Suites Dishwasher, Little Caesars Arena

About the Role

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Kitchen Helper and Utility Worker, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and quality dining experience for our guests by carefully cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Clean work area including equipment, floors, walls, and kitchen wares storage
• Remove trash from the dish room, transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize garbage cans
• Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils in a timely manner
• Sweep, mop, scrub, dispose of trash, and lift items as required each shift
• Ensure sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks meet health standards
• Occasionally push and pull equipment, mops, and brooms

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Capacity to work cooperatively with others
• Night transportation is required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs, placing items above and below head height
• Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the shift

Schedule

• Shift: 6:00 pm – 1:00 am
• Evenings and weekends
• 8-hour shifts
• Overtime and event shifts as needed
• Occasional overnight shifts

Pay

$15.25 per hour
