Suites Bartender

Levy is the official hospitality partner of the University of New Mexico (UNM) Athletics, home of the UNM Lobos. We provide management and oversight of food and beverage programs throughout UNM Athletics facilities, including concessions, suites, group sales, and non-game-day functions. Our team delivers show-quality hospitality experiences at the iconic UNM Arena (The Pit) and UNM Stadium.

About the role

As a Suites Bartender, you will prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while working alongside a team that values hospitality, teamwork, inclusion, and New Mexico pride. This is a part-time position for the 26/27 athletics season at UNM - University of New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
• Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Take and/or process orders for drinks; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
• Check guests at the bar for proper identification.
• Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
• Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
• Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
• Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops; secure bank.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

$15.00 to $16.00 per hour
