About the Role
Fishers Event Center has an immediate opening for a part-time Suite Attendant. This role ensures guests staying in suites or premium rooms have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates, silverware, televisions, lighting, and overall ambiance.
- Verify and set up all pre-game/event orders.
- Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself.
- Take and place game day food and beverage orders.
- Set up and check on game day food and beverage orders, serving guests until the end of the event.
- Replenish food, beverages, condiments, and utensils as needed.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the suite throughout the event.
- Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner.
- Clear all items from the suite, clean all surfaces and chafing dishes, and reset the suite for the next function.
- Complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager.
- Working hours vary by event and may include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a foodservice position.
- Valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses.
Skills
- Excellent guest service skills and ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards.
- Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training.
- Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation, and safety issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff and prepare event plans.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan.
- Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, and effectively work with others in a fast-paced environment.
