Suit-A-Bull Graduate Student Intern
About the role
This internship is intended for active University of South Florida (USF) graduate students. Non-graduate students are not eligible candidates for this position.
Responsibilities
- Aid in daily operations of Suit-A-Bull, including managing walk-in traffic, delivering high-quality customer service, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space.
- Provide individualized support to students seeking business or professional attire, offering guidance on appropriate clothing options based on their individual needs and career aspirations.
- Support outreach and marketing efforts to increase awareness of Suit-A-Bull among students and potential donors.
- Manage the process for handling new and used clothing donations, including collection, review, tracking, and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of student usage and program data following established procedures, and escalate student concerns or inventory discrepancies to leadership.
- Collaborate with staff to evaluate and enhance program effectiveness.
- Affiliate with additional tasks and activities within the Center for Career & Professional Development.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a USF graduate program.
- Pursuing or demonstrating interest in Sales, Marketing, Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Experience in customer service, retail, event planning, or student engagement.
- Interest in career development, personal branding, or professional image.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, donors, and team members professionally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all students to use the service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data tracking tools.

Schedule
Full-time, in-person position located on the Tampa campus. Works 15 to 20 hours per week, with the work schedule determined based on student availability and Suit-A-Bull operating hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
