SUD Counselor needed for busy MAT program (CADC, LADC, LMHC, LCSW, LICSW)
About the role
Compassionate Full Time Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor at Middlesex Recovery. A leading addiction treatment program addressing the opioid crisis, Middlesex Recovery provides medically-supervised services in various modalities and settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices and state regulations;
- Cookbook initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services;
- Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment;
- Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated;
- Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints;
- Develop aftercare and discharge plans;
- Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be a CADC, LADC, LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts;
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals;
- Demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population;
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Pay
Salary range: $30.00 to $32.37 per hour. Salary determined based on experience, education, specialty, and training.
