About the role
Join our mission to help individuals with mental illness and addictions to lead healthy and productive lives. GCBHS has immediate openings for Addictions Counselors / SUD Counselors (LPC/LSW) in Cincinnati and Batavia, Ohio. We have openings at our Amelia, Batavia, and Glenway locations.
Responsibilities
- Completes Diagnostic Assessments and treatment plans on individuals seeking services for gambling, alcohol or other drugs.
- Facilitates therapeutic cognitive behaviorally based groups for alcohol and other drug treatment.
- Conducts individual and family counseling sessions to identify problems that may interfere with the recovery process and develop appropriate treatment.
- Makes appropriate referrals for further counseling and services to improve client’s quality of life and likelihood of recovery.
- Provides case management, linkage and/or referrals to appropriate school, employment bureau, housing, health facility, or other community resources to enhance client’s quality of life and improve likelihood of recovery.
Requirements
- Ohio LPC or LSW required.
- Experience working with individuals with SUD.
- LCDCII, LCDCIII, LSW, or LPC preferred.
- Pay differential for LCDCII or above.

Pay
Pay differential based on level of license (CDCA, LCDCII or III, LPC, LSW).
