Key Responsibilities
- Flag mentees for early intervention before absenteeism escalates
- Collaborate with mentors to gather context and insights
- Work with mentors to develop attendance improvement plans
- Identify root causes (academic, social, family, health, motivation)
- Set clear goals, benchmarks, and follow-up timelines
- Cookordinate supports and referrals as needed (school staff, counselors, family outreach)
- Maintain data and track interventions
- Perfect for College Students or Retirees
- Must be able to pass a background check and DOE fingerprinting
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED - College Degree Preferred
- High energy and ability to connect with teenagers and maintain professional boundaries
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
