Substitute Teachers for Kinderhaus
About the role
The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork is seeking substitute teaching positions for Kinderhaus for the current and upcoming school year. WSRF is always looking for qualified, passionate teachers to support as substitutes in their programs.
Responsibilities
- Support classes from the Foundations Program through 8th grade
- Work either hourly or for full days
- Not required to have a teaching credential but preferred
- Undergo orientation to the school and classes they can serve
- Observe in classrooms, interact with faculty and students
- Gain familiarity with the school's basic methodology
- Help sustain classes while a regular teacher is away
Requirements
Qualified, passionate teachers are sought for this role. No teaching credential is required but is preferred.
Qualifications
Preference is given to those who have experience working with children and a strong passion for education.
Skills
Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles are essential.
