Substitute Teachers

About the role

Substitute teachers are needed at Berwick Academy to cover classes in all three divisions: Lower School (PK-4), Middle School (5-8), and Upper School (9-12).

Responsibilities

• Teach subjects as assigned by the regular teacher.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Ensure student safety and well-being.
• Adhere to lesson plans provided by regular teachers.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license or equivalent certification.
• Experience teaching grades PK-12 preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Pass a background check.
