Substitute Teachers (All Schools)

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational support to students in a Catholic school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic tutoring and mentoring to students
• Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
• Mentor and guide students in developing their academic and personal skills
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance student learning experiences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Experience working with students in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Valid New York State teaching certificate (if applicable)

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
