Substitute Teacher with Head Start - Wendover

About the role

Provide high-quality substitute teaching services at Head Start Wendover. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, and supporting students' learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Head Start curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support students' social-emotional development and academic progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure continuity of instruction.

Requirements

• Valid Idaho teaching certificate or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with young children preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
