Duties
- Plan, deliver, and assess instruction
- Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Support classroom management and safety
Qualifications
- A minimum of 60 college credits
- An exception may be provided for applicants who do not have a minimum of 60 college credits
- Completed a high school teacher preparatory course, such as Teachers for Tomorrow
- Employed as an Instructional Assistant for at least two school years at a K12 organization
- Completed two full years of experience teaching preschool or in a school aged childcare program
- Completed two full years as a classroom or student monitor
- Able to understand, follow, and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Work effectively with children, young adults, faculty, and staff
- Perform all required tasks, as assigned
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed Teacher (any state)
- Retired/Former teacher
