Job Responsibilities
Provide on-call coverage for the classroom in the absence of faculty.
Follow prescribed lesson plans as left by certified teachers.
- Maintain daily schedules.
- Supervise students during lunch and on field trips.
- Monitor students during trips to the health center as needed.
Collect student completed work and return to the classroom teacher.
Submit daily attendance information to the school office.
Promote and encourage proper behavior and conduct for each student in a safe manner.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Must have the ability to communicate using American Sign Language expressively and receptively.
Additional Comments
If selected for an interview, you must provide verification of your highest level of education (i.e., copy of BA degree, high school diploma, college transcript) and if applicable, licensure and/or certification (i.e., nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driving certification).
