Substitute Teacher - Jackson County
Position Overview

Job Title: Substitute Teacher.
Position Type: Part-Time.
Schedule: Varied days and hours per week based on staffing needs.
Position Goal
The Substitute Teacher supports the classroom in the absence of assigned staff in maintaining a nurturing and supportive education program for participating children.

Qualifications & Conditions Of Employment
- Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED AND Three (3) months of experience working in a licensed early childhood or school-based pre-school setting/
- Conditions of Employment: Valid ID and reliable transportation for use on the job. Must receive clearance by the Iowa Department of Human Services on child abuse and criminal background checks prior to hire and every two (2) years after. Must pass a pre-employment health examination and subsequent health examinations every three (3) years thereafter.
