About the Role
East Guernsey Local School District is seeking a long-term Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be assigned to a variety of daily and long-term absences at the high school level throughout the year.
Qualifications
- High school diploma; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Temporary or General Substitute License (can be obtained after hire); preference will be given to those able to obtain a General Substitute License
- Criminal record free of violations that would prohibit employment in public schools
Pay
$175 per day

173-day contract – may be prorated based on start date
