Substitute Teacher

About the role

Third Way Center is seeking Substitute Teachers for Joan Farley Academy and Joan Farley Academy at Lowry. These positions involve working in Facility School settings with students aged 13-21.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high expectations for student achievement in alternative/trauma-informed educational settings
• Work in Facility School settings with students aged 13-21
• Have classroom management skills
• Have experience working in residential treatment settings
• Have experience working with at-risk youth

Requirements

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to the work assignment
• A valid Colorado Department of Education Substitute Teaching License
• Pass an extensive background check, including a DMV records check
