Substitute Teacher

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements and attach the specified documents to your application:

Required Attachments

• Current valid California Teaching Credential OR 30-Day Sub Permit
• TB skin test certificate read or risk assessment within the last 4 years
• Fingerprint clearance receipt from the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) "Clearinghouse" (no other fingerprint clearance will be accepted). If you are already in the SDCOE Clearinghouse system and do not have a receipt, note this on your application for verification.
• Completed AB2534 (Mandatory Employment Disclosure) section in the application

Requirements

• Fully credentialed OR hold a 30-Day Sub Permit
• Credentials/permit must be registered with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE)
• Must be in the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) clearinghouse fingerprinting database

If all requirements are met and the required documents are attached, an invitation to attend a substitute employment orientation will be sent to the EdJoin email address provided on your application.
