About the role
The successful candidate will provide support to families and promote positive outcomes for children in the Head Start program.
Responsibilities
- Support families through home visits and parent-teacher conferences
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure high-quality educational experiences for children
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings
- Valid New York State driver’s license
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a background check and child abuse registry check
Skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development and learning theories
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
