Substitute Teacher (6-12)

Thales Academy Rolesville is actively hiring a Substitute Teacher (6-12) for the 2025-2026 academic year.

About the role

Thales Academy appreciates motivated, experienced substitute teachers who can help fill in when members of our faculty are unavailable. Experience working with children and/or teaching is beneficial but not required. Assignments may be long or short term depending on need.

Responsibilities

• Teach subjects as assigned by the school administration
• Ensure student safety and well-being
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members

Requirements

• Valid teaching license or certification (if applicable)
• Pass a background check
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
