About the Role
Reports to: Coordinator of Substitute Teaching
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience teaching or tutoring students preferred
- A steady, adaptable presence that puts students at ease in an unfamiliar setting
- Strong communication skills and sound judgment
- Genuine interest in supporting the whole-child learning experience
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands from wrist to finger, reach with hands, and talk or hear
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
