About the role

Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) is seeking Substitute Special Education Teachers to join our team at Lakes Country Academy (LCA) in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction and behavioral support in line with students' IEPs
  • Provide structure and consistency during staff absences
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and behavior specialists
  • Support students in achieving academic and social-emotional goals

Requirements

  • A valid Minnesota teaching license or a short-call substitute teaching license

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience with students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and emotional behavioral disorders (EBD)
  • Ability to work in a highly structured, supportive learning environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in delivering personalized academic support and social skills training

Skills

Pay

Pay Rate: Full Day = $186.00 Half Day = $93.00
