Responsibilities
- Provide health care services to medically fragile students (K-12 up to 21 years old) that have individual health plans.
- Administer medications according to doctor’s orders.
- Monitor and care for seizures.
- Provide tube feedings.
- Provide ventilator support.
- Perform suctioning.
- Assess the health care needs of children to foster an optimal learning environment.
- Work closely with other related service providers, such as PT, OT, Speech, Psychologist, etc.
- Provide First Aid for daily incidents, make recommendations when necessary, and document all incidents.
Qualifications
- NYS Registered Nursing Certification required.
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school or Pediatric environment preferred.
Pay
$30.77/Hr
