Qualifications
- NJ Certificate: School Nurse or Registered Nurse license with Substitute School Nurse (non-instructional) credential
- Valid CPR/AED and Professional Rescuer Certificates
- Willingness to obtain Substitute School Nurse (non-instructional) credential, if applicable
- Expertise in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, wellness education, community health and social service resources, and current health issues
- Personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, the community, and health and social service agencies
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, using proper grammar and vocabulary
- Proficiency in using technology for data management, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications
Pay
$43.00 per hour
Schedule
This is a part-time position which does not include benefits.
